program
on earth it is DNA, the plan is how we are made and how their ingredients interact with each other
improvisation
ability to change fundamental program
compartmentalization
living things have a limited volume delimited by a membrane that protects the body
energy
needed to survive; to “run” the program energy metabolize then released; kinetic energy
regeneration
repair tissues, renewal, repair, gradually decays over time; imperfect regeneration therefore reproduction is needed
adaptability
change in the short term, a behavioral response that is part of the program
seclusion
task division to allow everything to be done in parallel with any collisions
homeostasis
steady state: regulate temperature and pH for organs to function properly
