What are the different ways of doing: Electrolysis

• If the electrolyte is molten the positive metal ion is discharged at the cathode and the negative non-metal ion is discharged at the anode • If the elctrolyte is in solution then group 1 or 2 metal converts to hydrogen • The product at the anode is either oxygen or a halogen, families gets converted to oxygen
