• Asses scene for safety • Check for responsiveness • If the person is unresponsive, check for breathing • Check for injury and medical info jewelry or card

Tap shoulders of person “are you ok”

• ask for what is wrong • if only moans and groans, shout for help • phone or send someone to call 911 and get first aid kit • look for any obvious signs of injury • Ask for consent “I am a first aid responder, can I treat you” • look for any medical info

• shout for help • call 911 • tell someone get the first aid and AED • put phone in speaker mode • check for breathing • If breathing normally, check for injurys and medical info 7.if not breathing normally, begin CPR and use an AED • stay until help arrives
