#4
Front (Question)

What are two problems with the disposal of additional polymers, why?

Back (Answer)

They are chemically inert and not biodegradable because their long chains of carbon-carbon and carbon-hydrogen bonds are very strong, making them chemically inert and resistant to breakdown by microorganisms in landfill. They produce toxic gases when burnt because they can contain impurities which are toxic, e.g. carbon monoxide.
