The States of Matter is a solid melting into a liquid, the liquid evaporates into a gas, the gas is condensing into a liquid, the liquid freezes into a solid and then all over again.

Solid particles are strongly attached to each other. The particles are touching. The particles are in a regular arrangement. The particles can’t move position but they vibrate.

The particles are quite strongly attracted to each other. 2/3 of the particles are touching. The particles aren’t in a regular arrangement. The particles can slide past each other.

The particles are far apart. The particles have a lot of kinetic energy and move rapidly. The attraction of the particles is very weak. The particles aren’t in a regular arrangement.
